I'm previously user 203.217.44.141, who wrote a section on Australian strategy. The entire section was summarily reverted by user Dauth for not meeting the style guide. This ignores that my edit specifically requested a pass for style from more knowledgeable users. Furthermore, on consulting the style guide, I don't see dramatic violations of style that would fundamentally make the material unusable, as opposed to minor edits. The style page doesn't even have an example of a strategy section, either. Looking back at the edit history, this is not the first time this has occurred. There are a huge number of countries missing content for years now, and as a casual contributor I am highly unlikely in future to contribute to such wikis, if good faith efforts are just removed instead of being reworked or offered constructive feedback. Respectfully, a disappointed first time contributor to the HOI4 wiki. --182.239.247.44 06:50, 19 June 2018 (CEST)

I have to agree that some of the stuff seems a bit draconian, IMO. I can tell you that the main thing they're looking for is writing in the 3rd person. No usage of "I", "you", or "your", for instance. --Trifler (talk) 07:06, 19 June 2018 (CEST)

[Moderator] Without delving into the quality of the guide, asking for other users to improve the guide is not an acceptable excuse when you consider the time passed since the guide was written until it was removed [~4.5 months] -- from experience with the older wikis, if it wasn't fixed in that time-frame then it wouldn't be fixed at all. You mention the issue of requiring "minor" edits, but ignore the fact that those minor edits tend to add up -- simply put, the moderating team is not big enough to take care of all the minor edits on all the wikis. I'm sorry if your experience turned out to be a negative one. If you wish, you can still access the guide through the edit history and fix it for a re-post. ~ SolSys (talk) 17:08, 19 June 2018 (CEST)
