1939 scenario / Nation style guidelines
From what I can see no other major countries have detailed information on the status of army/navy/airforce for the 1939 start, and I think it clutters a lot. But before I remove it I'd like a discussion to know that I'm not alone in this opinion. For consistency it should be the same for all nations, either we have both 1936 and 1939 for all, or we stick to only 1936 information on the countries pages. Should we have a template:nation where we can set up a general style guideline for countries and discuss the style? As it is now a lot of the countries get styled in individual flavour, which works against having a united feeling to the wiki. Xiziz (talk) 15:47, 12 July 2016 (CEST)
- There isn't a guide yet but if you wanted to start building one at Project:Style/Country then that would be fine. You can use the EU4 guide as a starting point if you want. Dauth (talk) 01:39, 13 July 2016 (CEST)
Tip I've found
I've found that with the newer expansions, Romania is almost always guaranteeing Turkish independence. That means if you invade/annex turkey *AND* as soon as you possibly can, you get both countries resources and secure both flanks. ~~The accountless avenger.
The strategy section looks outdated to me. Recommended divisions are not optimal. "There is not much need for an air force or navy" is not true. Of course, this is my personal opinion but it sends out a wrong message. Also, some guidance on what focusses to go for first would be nice, when to do the purge, etc. I think at least the strategy part should be rewritten or deleted. --Rubenz (talk) 13:50, 7 November 2017 (CET)
