Page name[edit]

This page should be renamed to "Support Company technology" --Trifler (talk) 03:30, 20 June 2016 (CEST)

Why? The tab of these technologies is named “Support Battalions” in the game. – Lillebror (talk) 07:52, 20 June 2016 (CEST)
I see. The game named the tab wrong. That's annoying. The game calls them "companies" everywhere except that tab. Only the non-support ones are "battalions". --Trifler (talk) 16:12, 20 June 2016 (CEST)
As of version 1.3 the tab now says "Support Companies". --Trifler (talk) 05:57, 20 December 2016 (CET)
Done. – Lillebror (talk) 08:37, 20 December 2016 (CET)
Thank you. --Trifler (talk) 09:23, 20 December 2016 (CET)

Signal companies[edit]

After doing test, I can conclusively constant that Signal companies DON'T affect in what time reinforcement (manpower or equipment) will arrive into divisions. What signal companies does are:

  1. Increase chance for division to join battle if it is in reserves. So signal companies I will increase chance for division to join battle by 5%, which is added to radio bonus and other ones. That might be beneficial for armored divisions (so they would have priorities over infantry divisions).
  2. Increase planing speed of attack combat bonus. It normally goes 2% per day, so with signal company I it is 2.1% per day. Level I and II will reduce waiting period for 1 day, level III for 2 days, and level IV for 3 days of normally 25. Not considering doctrines and other bonuses.

bug report fixed?[edit]

The article refers to this bug report: https://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/index.php?threads/engineer-entrenchment-bonus-from-tech.944123/

As far as I understand this is fixed now (version 1.3.3). So the reference that bug report can be deleted from the article, right? — Preceding unsigned comment added by (talk) 00:17, 8 May 2017‎ (CEST)

Confirmed fixed. I removed the reference. --Trifler (talk) 02:10, 8 May 2017 (CEST)
